Vicente Martin vs Diego Valentino

Boxing Daily Report from the Monare Promotions promoted show at Managua Violante, Managua,  taking place on 16/08/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nicaragua Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ESTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Vicente Martin (12 - 23 - 3) who hails from Managua, Nicaragua and Diego Valentino(9 - 15 - 4) from Managua, Nicaragua.  Martin weighed in at 153 pounds and 4 ounces, while Valentino weighed in at 154 pounds and 9 ounces.    As Valentino came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Tajo Tabora, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Delgado, Franco Charo and Vicente Aviles.

Martin sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Valentino lands a right hook.  Valentino attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Martin time to recover.

Valentino advances into close range and cuts off the ring, trapping Martin on the ropes.  Valentino is on target with a left hook.
