Senon Nuno vs Manny Damaso

Boxing Daily Report from the Ondoa Promotions promoted show at Montevideo Maduro, Montevideo,  taking place on 04/08/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uruguay-Montevideo Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Senon Nuno (14(10) - 1(1)) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Manny Damaso(13(4) - 10(2) - 1) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Nuno weighed in at 126 pounds, while Damaso weighed in at 125 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Neron Archibeque, and the three ringside judges are Neron Archibeque, Elias Isabella and Vicente Estay.  

Round 1: 

Nuno steps to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Nuno lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Damaso advances into close range.  Nuno lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  Nuno clinches his opponent.  Damaso leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Nuno is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand left followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Nuno lands with a ramrod jab.  
Damaso closes the distance and throws a left uppercut, but Nuno ties up his opponent.  Damaso pushes his forearm into Nuno's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Nuno lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Damaso gets on the inside and hits home with a left hook.  Nuno holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Nuno pushes his forearm into Damaso's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Nuno about fouling.  
Nuno gets on the inside.  Damaso throws a left hook, but Nuno ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Damaso pushes his forearm into Nuno's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Damaso.  
Nuno attempts to land a cross, but Damaso blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Nuno steps to the outside and lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Damaso walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Nuno connects with a VICIOUS cross.  DAMASO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Damaso quickly recovers. 
Nuno tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Nuno is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Nuno steps inside.  Damaso throws a right uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Nuno holds on to his opponent.  Nuno hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref breaks Nuno's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Nuno tries to land a right hook, but Damaso blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Nuno's body.

Damaso snaps his opponents head back with a sharp jab.

Damaso tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Nuno behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Damaso.  Damaso almost instantly gets his legs back.

Nuno gets on the inside.  Nuno sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Damaso attempts to land a right hook, but Nuno blocks the shot and counters with a solid right hook to Damaso's body.  
Damaso tries to land a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a hurtful right uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE DAMASO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Damaso quickly recovers.
