Asif Tariq vs Robert Acedo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Arizona promoted show at Scottsdale Weatherhead, Scottsdale,  taking place on 03/08/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Arizona Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Asif Tariq (10 - 23(3) - 5) who hails from Phoenix, USA and Robert Acedo(15(4) - 3(3)) from Tucson, USA.  Both Tariq and Acedo weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lloyd San Angelo, and the three ringside judges are Ollie Cartaya, Duncan Spence and Denton Dryburgh.  

Round 1: 

Acedo is on target with a firm left uppercut.  
Acedo pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a solid right hook.  
Acedo lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Acedo lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Acedo pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a firm left hook.  
Tariq pivots to the side of his opponent.  Acedo lands a solid left hook.  
Acedo pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Tariq steps inside.  Acedo is on target with a solid right hook.  
Acedo is looking to close the distance.  Acedo backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Tariq is whaling away with hooks, but Acedo keeps his defence tight.
