Essien Chigumbura vs Tokelo Zwane

Boxing Daily Report from the South African Boxing Kingdom promoted show at Bellville Velodrome, Cape Town,  taking place on 22/08/2038:

Clearly South African Boxing Kingdom have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Southern African Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Essien Chigumbura (29 - 13) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Tokelo Zwane(17(7) - 13(8) - 1) from East London, South Africa.  Chigumbura weighed in at 125 pounds and 8 ounces, while Zwane weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is La Vonn Dorkenoo, and the three ringside judges are Oringo Arthur, Oringo Arthur and Bongi Rantie.  

Round 1: 

Chigumbura is looking to keep his distance and lands an overhand right.  
Zwane is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Zwane is looking to close the distance and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Chigumbura sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Chigumbura attempts to land a jab, but Zwane blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Chigumbura hits home with a right hook.  
Zwane throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot.  Zwane holds on to his opponent.  Chigumbura is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Chigumbura to stop fouling.  
Zwane digs in a firm right hook to Chigumbura's ribs.  
Zwane walks his opponent into a corner.  Zwane throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Zwane is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Zwane sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS CHIGUMBURA SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Zwane whips in a spiteful left hook to his opponents ribs.  Chigumbura now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Chigumbura is looking to keep his distance and throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Zwane gets on the inside and is on target with a stinging left hook to Chigumbura's liver.  
Zwane connects with a left hook.  
Zwane closes the distance and walks Chigumbura onto the ropes.  Chigumbura hits home with a right hook.  
Zwane is on target with a firm right hook to Chigumbura's ribcage.

Chigumbura goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Zwane time to recover.  
Chigumbura throws a right uppercut, but Zwane clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Zwane pushes his forearm into Chigumbura's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Zwane about fouling.  
Chigumbura switches the action to the outside and lands with a stinging jab.

Chigumbura throws a right hook, but Zwane clinches his opponent.  Zwane leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Zwane lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Zwane lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  
Zwane digs in a right hook to Chigumbura's ribcage.  Zwane clinches his opponent.  Zwane leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Chigumbura lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Zwane closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Zwane drives a right hook into Chigumbura's body.  
Zwane whips in a big right hook to his opponents body.  CHIGUMBURA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!
