Scott Rennick vs Dale Raitt

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Denver A.C., Denver,  taking place on 30/07/2038:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on MSG Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Scott Rennick (9(3) - 1) who hails from Montgomery, USA and Dale Raitt(2 - 2(1)) from Fort Wayne, USA.  Rennick weighed in at 140 pounds, while Raitt weighed in at 138 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mark Brimer, and the three ringside judges are Dominic Kennon, Paul Pollick and Gus Nickson.  

Round 1: 

Rennick lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Raitt is looking to close the distance.  Rennick lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Rennick lands a spiteful jab.  
Raitt cuts off the ring, trapping Rennick on the ropes.  Raitt sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Rennick attempts to land a cross, but Raitt slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Rennick feints a jab, and then lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Raitt gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but Rennick ties up his opponent.  Rennick is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Rennick's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Rennick tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Raitt closes the distance and forces Rennick to back into the ropes.  Raitt throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Rennick time to recover.  
Raitt steps inside.  Rennick attempts to land a left hook, but Raitt blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Raitt advances into close range.  Rennick pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Rennick is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Rennick drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Raitt attempts to land an overhand right, but Rennick slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Rennick lands a ramrod jab.  
Raitt quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent andAs the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Raitt dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Raitt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Rennick switches the action to the outside and snaps his opponents head back with a spiteful jab.  
Rennick lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Rennick tries to step out of his opponents range and EXPLODES a big overhand right into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE RAITT WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Raitt quickly recovers. 
Rennick lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Raitt's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Raitt walks Rennick down, trapping him on the ropes.  Raitt throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook to Raitt's ribcage.  
Raitt closes the distance.  Rennick throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps.  Rennick holds on to his opponent.  Rennick is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Raitt steps inside and tries to land a left uppercut, but Rennick blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Rennick pivots from in front of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Rennick feints a left, and then is on target with a sharp jab.  
Rennick is looking to keep his distance.  Raitt sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Rennick finds the target with a hard jab.  
Rennick lands with a ramrod jab.  
Rennick sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Rennick feints a cross, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Raitt steps inside and forces Rennick to retreat onto the ropes.  Rennick lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Raitt steps inside and throws a right hook, but Rennick ties up his opponent.  Raitt uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Rennick behind the head. 
Rennick tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a ramrod jab.

Rennick lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Raitt is on target with a cross.

Rennick leans on his opponent using all his weight. Rennick is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Rennick lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Raitt gets on the inside.  Raitt is on target with a right hook to Rennick's body.  Raitt attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Rennick time to recover.  
Raitt sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Raitt tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Rennick lands a forceful left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE RAITT WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Rennick connects with a SAVAGE cross.  RAITT IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  Raitt now seems to have got his legs back.

Rennick lands an overhand right followed by  two straights to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Raitt quickly recovers. 
Rennick lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Raitt quickly recovers.
