Dong-won Sung vs Waqar Qureshi

Boxing Daily Report from the Sumito Urayama's KO Kings promoted show at Masan Indoor Gymnasium, Changwon,  taking place on 11/09/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Asia-Oceania Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KBS Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are The Power Dong-won Sung (50(48) - 13(9)) who hails from Iksan, South Korea and Waqar Qureshi(32(6) - 19(15) - 1) from Irbid, Jordan.  Both Sung and Qureshi weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ja-choel Chae, and the three ringside judges are Yong-jae Ham, Chul Kwon and Min-woo Kang.  

Round 1: 

Qureshi is on target with a solid left hook.  
Sung is looking to keep his distance.  Sung feints a cross, but Qureshi is not fooled and responds with a solid left uppercut.  
Sung lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Qureshi almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Sung switches the action to the outside and tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

Qureshi cuts off the ring, trapping Sung on the ropes.  Qureshi throws a left hook, but Sung clinches his opponent.  Sung is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Sung's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Sung is looking to keep the action on the outside and drives a ramrod jab into his opponents face.  
Qureshi attempts to land a jab, but Sung sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Qureshi attempts to land a jab, but Sung slips the shot and counters with a sharp left hook to his opponents liver.  
Sung tries to land an overhand right, but Qureshi sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Qureshi is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but Sung clinches his opponent.  Sung is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Qureshi pushes his forearm into Sung's face.  The ref breaks Sung's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Sung steps away from his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Sung lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND QURESHI IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 7.  Qureshi almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Qureshi cuts off the ring, trapping Sung on the ropes.  Qureshi digs in a left uppercut to Sung's body.  Qureshi attempts to land a jab, but Sung slips the shot and counters with a hurtful right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE QURESHI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Qureshi recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Qureshi closes the distance.  Qureshi sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Sung lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Sung is looking to keep the action on the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Qureshi is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
Sung tries to step out of his opponents range.  Qureshi attempts to land a jab, but Sung blocks the shot and counters with a CRUSHING cross.  QURESHI IS HURT!  Qureshi quickly recovers. 
Qureshi advances into close range.  Qureshi sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Qureshi hits home with a solid right hook.  Sung holds on to his opponent.  Qureshi is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Qureshi about fouling.
