Sylvain Oliphant vs Luc Girardot

Boxing Daily Report from the Gbedema Promotions promoted show at Garoua Bitee, Garoua,  taking place on 21/07/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cameroon-Nord Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sylvain Oliphant (13 - 19(1) - 6) who hails from Garoua, Cameroon and Luc Girardot(9(4) - 1(1) - 1) from Garoua, Cameroon.  Both Oliphant and Girardot weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Raul Truffaut, and the three ringside judges are Bayard Delahaye, Montrose Bourdelle and Emmanuel Biyik.  

Round 1: 

Girardot gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Girardot steps inside and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Girardot is looking to keep his distance.  Oliphant sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Girardot lands a cross.

Oliphant could be stopped here, if Girardot can find the right shot!  Girardot lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  He then lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND OLIPHANT IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Girardot closes the distance.  Girardot crashes a nasty right uppercut to Oliphant's body.  OLIPHANT IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Oliphant now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Girardot is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Oliphant throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Girardot closes the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Girardot holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Girardot pushes his forearm into Oliphant's face.  The referee warns Girardot and breaks the clinch.
