Montenegro Merino vs Elias Checo

Boxing Daily Report from the Victor Bravo promoted show at Lorenzo Robles Gym, Ponce,  taking place on 14/07/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Puerto Rico Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Puerto Rico Sports Network, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Montenegro El Pirolitico Merino (28 - 6(2)) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Elias Checo(19 - 3(1) - 1) from Ponce, Puerto Rico.  Both Merino and Checo weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vegas Baquero, and the three ringside judges are Nicandro Martinez, Lorenzo Capo and Xavion Roxas.
