Oscar Tait vs Michael Mordecai

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Georgia promoted show at Atlanta Lowry, Atlanta,  taking place on 08/07/2038:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Georgia Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Oscar Tait (20(6) - 0) who hails from Augusta, USA and Michael Mordecai(20 - 11(1) - 5) from Atlanta, USA.  Both Tait and Mordecai weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Colin Binney, and the three ringside judges are Dave Goodlett, Richard Rutherford and Edward Brand.  

Round 1: 

Tait connects with a firm right uppercut.  Tait tries to land a left hook, but Mordecai blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Tait tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a firm cross to his opponents body.  
Tait gets on the inside and drives a sharp left hook into Mordecai's ribs.  
Tait hits home with a left hook.  
Tait is looking to close the distance and drives a left hook into Mordecai's liver.  
Tait is on target with a firm left uppercut.  Tait holds on to his opponent.  Tait hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Tait dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Tait lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Tait closes the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Tait gets on the inside and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Tait is on target with a left hook to Mordecai's body.  
Tait is on target with a sharp left hook to Mordecai's ribs.  
Tait lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Mordecai quickly recovers. 
Tait lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Tait steps away from his opponent and lands with a stiff jab.  
Mordecai gets on the inside.  Tait lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Tait advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Tait hits home with a cross.  
Mordecai tries to land a jab, but Tait slips the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Mordecai's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Mordecai's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Mordecai's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Tait pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Tait quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a solid right uppercut.  
Tait lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mordecai throws a left hook, but Tait holds on to his opponent.  Tait pushes his forearm into Mordecai's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Tait digs in a sharp right hook to Mordecai's ribs.  
Tait drives a firm left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Tait lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Tait clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Tait pushes his forearm into Mordecai's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Tait pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a firm left uppercut to Mordecai's body.  
Tait lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Tait quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS MORDECAI TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Mordecai now seems to have his senses back.  
Tait switches the action to the outside.  Tait quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands three consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Tait closes the distance and tries to land a left uppercut, but Mordecai blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Tait manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Tait crashes a big right hook to his opponents ribcage.  MORDECAI HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Tait lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Tait is on target with a hard jab.  Tait throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Mordecai to the neutral corner.  He lectures Tait but does not take away a point.  
Tait steps inside.  Tait sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Tait is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a sharp cross.  
Tait closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Tait lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Mordecai recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Mordecai closes the distance.  Tait pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Mordecai recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Tait feints a jab, but Mordecai ignores the feint and lands with a cross.  
Tait pivots to the side of his opponent.  Tait tries to land a left hook, but Mordecai blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to Tait's body.  
Tait drives a sharp left hook into his opponents body.  
Tait feints a cross, fooling Mordecai into throwing a right uppercut counter.  Tait springs the trap, countering with  a VICIOUS right hook.  MORDECAI IS DOWN!  HE MAKES IT TO ONE KNEE, BUT IS UNABLE TO RISE ANY FURTHER AS THE REF COUNTS 10!  The winner by KO is Tait!
