Johnny Kettles vs Paul Strothers

Boxing Daily Report from the DBA promoted show at USA-Louisiana Gym, New Orleans,  taking place on 06/07/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Deep South Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Johnny Kettles (9 - 6 - 2) who hails from Louisville, USA and Paul Strothers(8 - 10(1)) from New Orleans, USA.  Kettles weighed in at 105 pounds, while Strothers weighed in at 104 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Wayne Beaubien, and the three ringside judges are Ian Salton, Chris Nisbett and Mark Gilchrist.  

Round 1: 

Kettles pivots from in front of his opponent.  Strothers goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Kettles's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Kettles pivots to the right of his opponent.  Kettles throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Strothers's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
