Phil Blier vs Xavion Baca

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at BMO Field, Toronto,  taking place on 14/08/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sweet Phil Blier (56(47) - 2 - 1) who hails from Brampton, Canada and Xavion Baca(29(5) - 23(14) - 1) from Managua, Nicaragua.  Both Blier and Baca weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Ruskin, and the three ringside judges are James Biggart, Mark Mowat and Kian Clanahan.  

Round 1: 

Blier lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Baca tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Blier connects with a left hook.  
Blier steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Blier switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Blier tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Baca lands a jab.  
Blier pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a stiff jab.  
Blier pivots to the right of his opponent.  Blier drives a hard jab into his opponents face.  Blier attempts to land a right hook, but Baca blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Blier's body.  
Baca closes the distance.  Blier hits home with a solid left hook.  
Blier pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Blier lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Blier switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Baca quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Blier lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Blier is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a jab, but Baca parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Blier lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Baca forces Blier to back into the corner.  Blier lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Baca gets on the inside.  Blier connects with a sharp left hook.  
Blier digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Blier lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Blier is on target with a right hook to Baca's body.  Blier throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Blier lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Blier lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Baca almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Baca digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Blier is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Blier lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Baca recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Baca's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Baca's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Blier steps to the outside.  Blier sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Baca finds the target with a jab.  
Baca throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Baca steps inside.  Baca sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Blier lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Baca steps inside.  Blier lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Baca sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Blier steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Baca gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Blier connects with a left uppercut.

Blier is looking to keep his distance and lands a stinging cross.  
Baca hits home with a left uppercut.  
Blier tries to land a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Baca gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to Blier's body.  
Blier lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND SENDS BACA TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Baca recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

He continues the combination and lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND BACA IS DOWN!  The count reaches 10, but Baca is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Blier!
