Sam Preece vs Syed Shaker

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Bell Centre, Montreal,  taking place on 10/07/2038:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Commonwealth Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sam Preece (51(38) - 5(1)) who hails from Winnipeg, Canada and Syed Shaker(24(4) - 8(4)) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Preece and Shaker weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Coupland, and the three ringside judges are Louis Marvingt, Phil Pearce and Germain Baute.  

Round 1: 

Shaker lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Shaker hits home with a cross.  
Shaker lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Preece lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Preece advances into close range.  Preece knows Shaker is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Preece lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  He then lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head, AND SENDS SHAKER SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  Shaker now seems to have got his legs back.

Preece lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND SENDS SHAKER TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Shaker almost instantly recovers.

He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Preece!
