Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Stanford Stadium, San Francisco,  taking place on 07/08/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kris the Missle Jones (53(35) - 2(2) - 1) who hails from Centennial, USA and Kyros Takes(28(9) - 22(20) - 1) from Peristeri, Greece.  Both Jones and Takes weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Louden, and the three ringside judges are Chris Jones, Dylan Waddell and Tobias Brash.  

Round 1: 

Takes attempts to land a jab, but Jones sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Takes throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Jones lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  Jones tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Jones sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab to the body followed by a overhand right to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Takes recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Takes closes the distance and is on target with a right hook.  
Takes gets on the inside.  Jones sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Takes's liver.  
Takes hits home with a cross.  
Jones drives a ramrod jab into his opponents face.

Jones sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a sharp overhand right.  
Takes hits home with a left hook.  
Takes is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Jones lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Takes gets on the inside and forces Jones to retreat onto the ropes.  Takes lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Jones lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS TAKES DOWN!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Jones!
