Leon Owen vs Ian Morgan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Tennessee promoted show at New Daisy Theater, Memphis,  taking place on 06/06/2038:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Tennessee Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leon Owen (23(10) - 6) who hails from Nashville, USA and Ian Morgan(29 - 15(2)) from Memphis, USA.  Both Owen and Morgan weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Clint Blagg, and the three ringside judges are Robert Davidson, Dennis McKenzie and John Barrett.  

Round 1: 

Owen is on target with a left hook to Morgan's body.  
Morgan attempts to land a cross, but Owen sidesteps and counters with a right hook.

Morgan steps away from his opponent.  Owen is on target with a jab.  
Owen is looking to close the distance and drives a left hook into Morgan's ribs.

Owen sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Owen lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Owen clinches his opponent.  Owen is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Owen and breaks the clinch.

Owen lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Morgan digs in a left uppercut to Owen's body.  
Owen advances into close range and is on target with a firm right uppercut to Morgan's ribcage.  
Owen drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Owen connects with a cross.  
Morgan is looking to keep his distance.  Owen hits home with an overhand right.  
Owen lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Owen walks Morgan down, trapping him in a corner.  Owen is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Morgan pivots to the side of his opponent.  Owen is on target with a cross.  
Owen throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.

Owen lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Morgan steps to the outside.  Owen lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Morgan throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Owen steps inside and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Owen gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Morgan tries to step out of his opponents range.  Owen hits home with a firm cross.  
Owen lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Owen attempts to land a left hook, but Morgan slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Owen gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Owen lands a left hook to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Owen dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Morgan is on target with a left uppercut.  
Owen gets on the inside and drives a firm left hook into his opponents body.  
Owen lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Morgan's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.

Owen closes the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS MORGAN TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Morgan recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Morgan tries to step out of his opponents range.  Owen lands a cross.  
Owen is on target with a cross.  Owen throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Owen pivots from in front of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Owen manouvers Morgan onto the ropes.  Owen sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Owen senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Owen lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS MORGAN DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Morgan now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Morgan is on target with a right uppercut.  
Owen lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Morgan switches the action to the outside and attempts to land an overhand right, but Owen blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Morgan digs in a left hook to Owen's body.  
Owen is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Owen closes the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND MORGAN IS KNOCKED DOWN!  The ref does not even bother with the count...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Owen!
