Santiago Hernadez vs Cruz Copas

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Honduras-Francisco Morazan promoted show at Tegucigalpa Almeida, Tegucigalpa,  taking place on 24/05/2038:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Honduras-Francisco Morazan Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Hernadez (9 - 11 - 4) who hails from Tegucigalpa, Honduras and Cruz Copas(13(4) - 16(3) - 3) from Tegucigalpa, Honduras.  Hernadez weighed in at 111 pounds And 14 ounces, while Copas weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Franco Maza, and the three ringside judges are Hilario Bonito, Cuba Barrio and Carlos Augusto.  

Round 1: 

Copas drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Hernadez throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Copas is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Hernadez quickly recovers. 
Hernadez is looking to keep his distance.  Copas is on target with a cross.  
Copas steps inside and drives a left hook into Hernadez's body.  Copas holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Copas pushes his forearm into Hernadez's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Copas steps inside and hits home with a left hook.  
Copas steps to the outside and lands a jab.  
Copas digs in a solid left hook to Hernadez's liver.  
Copas gets on the inside and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Copas drives a left hook into Hernadez's body.  
Copas advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Hernadez closes the distance.  Copas is on target with a left hook.  
Hernadez lands a right hook.  
Copas is looking to close the distance and drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Hernadez gets on the inside.  Copas pivots to the right of his opponent.  Copas drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Copas ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Copas pushes his forearm into Hernadez's face.  The referee warns Copas and breaks the clinch.

Copas is looking to close the distance and connects with a sharp left uppercut.  Copas holds on to his opponent.  Copas leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Hernadez quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Hernadez throws a right hook, but Copas clinches his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Copas lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Copas advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Copas is looking to keep his distance.  Copas knows Hernadez is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Copas lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body, AND HERNADEZ IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  Hernadez now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Copas advances into close range and is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Copas manouvers his opponent into the red corner.  Copas pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Hernadez recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Copas advances into close range and is on target with a sharp right hook to Hernadez's body.  
Copas lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Copas senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Copas lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND HERNADEZ IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Copas lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  He then lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  It looks like Hernadez has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Copas lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Copas lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Copas walks Hernadez down, trapping him on the ropes.  Copas drives a left hook into his opponents body.
