Chris Owen vs Hamish McAleer

Boxing Daily Report from the Ssali Promotions promoted show at Global Gym, Newcastle,  taking place on 19/03/2038:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Northern England Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Owen (14 - 6(2)) who hails from Leeds, UK and Hamish McAleer(3 - 13 - 5) from Bradford, UK.  Both Owen and McAleer weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Peter MacQuarrie, and the three ringside judges are Jonathan Duane, Mark Stoddart and Robert Couper.  

Round 1: 

Owen is on target with a left hook to McAleer's ribs.  
Owen is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right hook.
