Charlie Magee vs Hugh Ivers

Boxing Daily Report from the Ecosse Boxing promoted show at John MacPhail Gym, Glasgow,  taking place on 20/03/2038:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Celtic Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Charlie Magee (14(1) - 9(2) - 1) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Hugh Ivers(6 - 14(3) - 4) from Edinburgh, UK.  Both Magee and Ivers weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Patrick McBeth, and the three ringside judges are Andrew Frew, John McVicker and Gordon Arnott.  

Round 1: 

Magee tries to keep the action at long range.  Magee feints a right, and then lands a cross, jab and an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Ivers throws a right hook, but Magee holds on to his opponent.  Magee leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Magee manages to force his way out of the clinch.  
Magee is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  Magee clinches his opponent.  Ivers tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Magee's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Magee lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Magee lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Magee feints a left, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Magee tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Ivers steps inside.  Magee lands a left hook.  Magee holds on to his opponent.  Ivers is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Magee's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Ivers lands a cross followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Frustration is starting to boil over for Ivers now.   He swings an uppercut into his opponents groin! The ref halts the action and sends Magee to the neutral corner.    He has a stern word with Ivers and warns that a point will be deducted if he continues to foul.  
Magee steps to the outside and hits home with a stinging cross.  
Magee feints a left hook, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Magee tries to keep the action at long range.  Magee feints a right hook, and then lands a cross, jab and an overhand left to his opponents head, AND SENDS IVERS TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Magee!
