Ashley Swanson vs John Lay

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Robina Stadium, Gold Coast,  taking place on 26/09/2037:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ashley Swanson (14 - 5(2)) who hails from Sunshine Coast, Australia and John Lay(28(9) - 21(19) - 1) from Perth, Australia.  Both Swanson and Lay weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Richie Higgins, and the three ringside judges are Mel Culp, Ian Corrie and Geoff Birnie.
