Tariq Soltani vs Gazi Pervez

Boxing Daily Report from the Mbun Promotions promoted show at Mashhad Khalid, Mashhad,  taking place on 25/08/2037:

Clearly Mbun Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Iran-Razavi Khorasan Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tariq Soltani (16 - 13 - 2) who hails from Mashhad, Iran and Gazi Pervez(5(1) - 1) from Mashhad, Iran.  Both Soltani and Pervez weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Syed Rajput, and the three ringside judges are Saad Hoda, Tariq Akbari and Kamran Sahli.  

Round 1: 

Soltani closes the distance.  Pervez pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Pervez lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Pervez closes the distance.  Soltani throws a left hook, but Pervez ties up his opponent.  Pervez is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Pervez about fouling.  
Pervez throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Soltani's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Pervez is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Pervez manages to force Soltani into a corner.  Pervez throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.
