Vidkun Laursen vs Daniel Davis

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Olympic Stadium, Montreal,  taking place on 18/07/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Vidkun Laursen (0 - 0) who hails from Aarhus, Denmark and Daniel Davis(11 - 5 - 5) from Calgary, Canada.  Laursen weighed in at 200 pounds, while Davis weighed in at 199 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Briant Sarraute, and the three ringside judges are Nicholas Prior, Verrier Luna and Paul Coupland.  

Round 1: 

Laursen closes the distance and lands a solid right hook.  
Laursen feints a left hook, and then lands a sharp jab.  
Laursen lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Laursen advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Davis quickly recovers. 
Davis gets on the inside.  Laursen lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Some sustained pressure from Laursen could be enough to finish Davis!  Laursen lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS DAVIS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Davis now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Laursen is on target with a right uppercut.  
Laursen steps inside.  Laursen pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Laursen lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Laursen digs in a right uppercut to Davis's body.  
Laursen lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Davis is looking to close the distance.  Laursen throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Laursen ties up his opponent.  Davis leans on his opponent using all his weight. Laursen pushes his forearm into Davis's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Laursen.  
Davis cuts off the ring, trapping Laursen on the ropes.  Laursen lands a solid jab.  
Laursen gets on the inside and hits home with a solid right hook.  
Laursen forces Davis to back into the corner.  Laursen lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Laursen lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Laursen is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a sharp cross.  
Laursen advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Laursen holds on to his opponent.  Laursen uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Davis behind the head. Davis almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Laursen connects with a right hook.  
Laursen pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Davis's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Davis's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Laursen throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Laursen clinches his opponent.  Laursen leans on his opponent using all his weight. Laursen uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Davis behind the head. 
Laursen lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Laursen connects with a stinging right hook.  Laursen attempts to land a right hook, but Davis blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Laursen steps inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND DAVIS IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Davis almost instantly recovers. 
Laursen stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Davis is on target with a jab.  Davis tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Laursen pivots to the left of his opponent.  Laursen lands a right uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  Laursen clinches his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Laursen drives a solid right hook into Davis's body.  Laursen clinches his opponent.  Laursen leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Laursen's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Laursen connects with a sharp right hook.  
Laursen advances into close range and is on target with a left uppercut to Davis's body.  
Laursen lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Laursen is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Laursen is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Laursen drives a stinging right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.  
Laursen drives a stinging right uppercut into Davis's body.  DAVIS WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Laursen is looking to force the stoppage!  Laursen whips in a nasty left hook to his opponents ribs.  DAVIS HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  It looks like Davis has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Laursen lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Davis almost instantly recovers. 
Laursen DETONATES a DESTRUCTIVE right uppercut on his opponents face.  DOWN GOES DAVIS!  THE REF DOES NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH THE COUNT...HE'S SEEN ENOUGH AND HAS STOPPED THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Laursen!
