Gareth Abrego vs Santiago Ruano

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at UIC Pavilion, Chicago,  taking place on 22/08/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gareth Abrego (13(6) - 0) who hails from Tallahassee, USA and Santiago Ruano(28(16) - 9) from Carolina, Puerto Rico.  Abrego weighed in at 118 pounds, while Ruano weighed in at 117 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Will Cockburn, and the three ringside judges are Rob Dockter, Joe Walls and Colin Karolewicz.

Abrego forces Ruano to retreat into the blue corner.  Abrego is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Abrego lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND SENDS RUANO TO THE CANVAS!  The ref does not give Ruano the chance to beat the count...The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Abrego!
