John Waje vs Haaris Khalaf

Boxing Daily Report from the Kune Promotions promoted show at Ilorin Sani, Ilorin,  taking place on 08/07/2037:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Nigeria-Kwara State Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Waje (18(2) - 2) who hails from Ilorin, Nigeria and Haaris Khalaf(9 - 8 - 2) from Ilorin, Nigeria.  Waje weighed in at 200 pounds, while Khalaf weighed in at 199 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Elliot Katusi, and the three ringside judges are Gazi Ansari, Shehu Ikisikpo and Izunna Ottiji.  

Round 1: 

Waje closes the distance and is on target with a left hook to Khalaf's liver.
