Kian Hopa vs George Bates

Boxing Daily Report from the Nkoloma Promotions promoted show at North Shore Wallis, North Shore,  taking place on 03/06/2037:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand-Auckland Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kian Hopa (26 - 13(5) - 1) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and George Bates(19 - 15(1) - 5) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Both Hopa and Bates weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Skene, and the three ringside judges are Chris Kellie, Kyle Stine and Dominic Erwin.  

Round 1: 

Hopa is on target with a right uppercut.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Bates.  That has caused swelling  around the left eye.
