Kei Shirai vs Kenji Miura

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Yoyogi National Gymnasium, Tokyo,  taking place on 11/07/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are King Kei Shirai (51(29) - 8(5) - 1) who hails from Hachioji, Japan and Kenji Miura(39(27) - 14(10) - 1) from Nagoya, Japan.  Both Shirai and Miura weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michi Uyehara, and the three ringside judges are Kazuhiko Nakano, Eiji Mizuno and Dai Fujita.  

Round 1: 

Shirai sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Shirai lands a straight 1 - 2.  Shirai tries to land a cross, but Miura parries the shot and counters with a cross.
