Macario Jerez vs Carlos Maez

Boxing Daily Report from the Shakalongo Promotions promoted show at Macario Bega Gym, Barquisimeto,  taking place on 08/05/2037:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Venezuela-Lara Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Macario Jerez (4 - 9 - 6) who hails from Barquisimeto, Venezuela and Carlos Maez(12 - 23(1) - 5) from Barquisimeto, Venezuela.  Jerez weighed in at 125 pounds And 10 ounces, while Maez weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gervasio Peno, and the three ringside judges are Diego Urbano, Santiago Cardiel and Iago Padilla.
