Dave Lamond vs Chris Forbush

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Texas promoted show at Houston Deans, Houston,  taking place on 08/04/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Texas Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dave Lamond (25 - 17 - 5) who hails from San Antonio, USA and Chris Forbush(10 - 13(2) - 3) from Dallas, USA.  Lamond weighed in at 122 pounds, while Forbush weighed in at 121 pounds And 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is James Curto, and the three ringside judges are Dale Holmes, Leo Ovens and Danny Henderson.  

Round 1: 

Forbush gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook.  
Forbush hits home with a cross.  
Lamond steps to the outside.  Lamond quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Lamond attempts to land a cross, but Forbush slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Lamond throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

Lamond quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Forbush connects with a left hook.  
Lamond lands a jab.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Lamond's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Forbush's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.

Forbush gets on the inside.  As Lamond tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Forbush dabs at his face checking for damage.  Forbush has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.
