Jean Bayard vs Leeroy Polk

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Stade de France, Paris,  taking place on 31/10/2036:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jean Bayard (8(2) - 0) who hails from Marseille, France and Leeroy Polk(7 - 12(1) - 2) from Edmonton, Canada.  Bayard weighed in at 228 pounds and 10 ounces, while Polk weighed in at 238 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Carvell Linder, and the three ringside judges are Umber Delpy, Horace Ort and Benedict Killy.  

Round 1: 

Bayard lands a sharp jab.  
Bayard feints a cross, and then hits home with a stinging jab.  
Polk gets on the inside and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Bayard lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  Bayard clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Bayard pushes his forearm into Polk's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Bayard to stop fouling.  
Bayard quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Polk attempts to land an overhand left, but Bayard sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Polk closes the distance.  Bayard pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Bayard backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Polk steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.

Polk is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook.

Bayard lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.
