Sajid Dan vs Waqar Almasri

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 29/07/2042 from Sana'a, Yemen:

The Sana'a venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Sajid Dan (2 - 3) who hails from Aden, Yemen and Waqar Almasri(2 - 5) from Sana'a, Yemen.  

Round 1: 

Almasri closes the distance.  Almasri lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Dan drives a jab into Almasri's body.  
Almasri advances into close range.  Almasri pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Dan steps to the outside and lands a cross.  
Almasri closes the distance and walks Dan down, trapping him on the ropes.  Almasri pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Dan tries to keep the action at long range and attempts to land a jab, but Almasri slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Dan switches the action to the outside and connects with a stinging overhand right.  
Almasri pivots to the left of his opponent.  Almasri tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Almasri advances into close range.  Almasri quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Almasri throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Almasri lands a left hook.  
Almasri is looking to close the distance and hits home with a left hook.  
Almasri pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Almasri advances into close range.  Almasri pivots to the left of his opponent.  Dan throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Almasri lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Almasri tries to land a cross, but Dan sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Almasri pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Almasri pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Almasri quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Dan drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Almasri attempts to land a right hook, but Dan blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Almasri closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Dan connects with a cross.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Dan's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!  Almasri's trainer is advising his fighter to keep his distance and coast to the win.

Almasri is looking to keep his distance and lands a stinging jab.  
Almasri pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a jab.
