Boxing Daily Report from the Nicaragua National Finals 2042,  taking place on 14/04/2042 from Managua, Nicaragua:

The Managua venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Desiderio Pizarro (11 - 1) who hails from Managua, Nicaragua and Felippe Pecina(9 - 20) from Tipitapa, Nicaragua.  

Round 1: 

Pizarro hits the target with a hard jab.

Pizarro leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Pecina accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Pizarro.  Pecina lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Pecina advances into close range.  Pizarro is on target with a firm left hook to Pecina's body.
