Hassan Farooq vs Waqar Narimanbeyov

Boxing Daily Report from the Iran National Finals 2042,  taking place on 26/03/2042 from Isfahan, Iran:

The Isfahan venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Hassan Farooq (14 - 7) who hails from Shiraz, Iran and Waqar Narimanbeyov(17(2) - 7) from Tabriz, Iran.  

Round 1: 

Farooq lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Narimanbeyov senses Farooq is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Narimanbeyov slams a nasty right uppercut into Farooq's body.  FAROOQ HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Farooq now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Narimanbeyov pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a firm left uppercut to Farooq's body.  
Narimanbeyov sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Farooq throws a right hook, but Narimanbeyov holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Narimanbeyov pushes his forearm into Farooq's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Narimanbeyov about fouling.  
Narimanbeyov advances into close range.  Narimanbeyov sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Farooq is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Narimanbeyov pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Farooq switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  Farooq throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Farooq hits home with a ramrod jab.  
Narimanbeyov sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Narimanbeyov digs in a right hook to his opponents body.
