Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 07/02/2042 from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil:

The Rio de Janeiro venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jeraldo Barros (35 - 6) who hails from Sao Goncalo, Brazil and Joaquin Anub(2 - 11(2)) from Lipa, Philippines.  

Round 1: 

Anub pivots to the side of his opponent.  Anub lands a jab.  Anub throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Anub attempts to land a jab, but Barros slips the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Barros steps inside.  Barros hits home with a left hook.  
Barros steps inside.  Barros sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Barros gets on the inside.  Barros sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.

Barros is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Anub throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Anub cuts off the ring, trapping Barros on the ropes.  Barros attempts to land a cross, but Anub slips the shot and counters with a left hook.

Barros is looking to close the distance.  Barros pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Anub switches the action to the outside and connects with a cross.

Anub sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Barros is on target with a jab.  
Barros lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Barros pivots to the left of his opponent, but Anub is on target with a left uppercut.  
Anub attempts to land a cross, but Barros sidesteps and counters with a solid right uppercut.
