Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 06/02/2042 from Brisbane, Australia:

The Brisbane venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Daniel Magee (75(28) - 14) who hails from Gold Coast, Australia and Glynn Rhoderick(1 - 0) from Melbourne, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Magee lands a hard jab.  
Magee gets on the inside.  Rhoderick throws a right uppercut, but Magee holds on to his opponent.  Magee is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Magee is on target with a left hook.  
Magee lands a stinging right hook.  
Magee connects with a sharp right uppercut.  
Rhoderick throws a left hook, but Magee holds on to his opponent.  Magee is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Magee.  
Magee throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Magee gets on the inside and is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Magee connects with a solid left hook.  
Magee forces Rhoderick to back into the red corner.  Magee lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.

Magee gets on the inside.  Magee pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Magee lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Magee closes the distance and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Magee ties up his opponent.  Rhoderick pushes his forearm into Magee's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Magee feints a cross, and then lands a jab, right hook and a jab to his opponents head.  
Magee steps inside.  Rhoderick throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Magee ties up his opponent.  Magee leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Magee tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Rhoderick's kidney. The referee warns Magee and breaks the clinch.  
Magee manouvers Rhoderick onto the ropes.  Magee lands a left hook to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.

Magee stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Rhoderick throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Rhoderick gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but Magee clinches his opponent.  Magee leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Magee hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Magee steps inside and is on target with a solid right hook to Rhoderick's body.  
Magee throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Magee holds on to his opponent.  Magee leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Magee's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Magee digs in a firm right hook to his opponents body.  Magee holds on to his opponent.  Magee leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Magee is on target with a spiteful jab.  
Magee lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Rhoderick steps inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Rhoderick sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Rhoderick tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.

Magee manouvers Rhoderick onto the ropes.  Magee is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Magee lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND RHODERICK IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 6.  Rhoderick now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Rhoderick sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Magee lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Rhoderick advances into close range.  Magee lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Magee drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Magee steps inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Magee closes the distance.  Magee pivots from in front of his opponent.  Magee throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Magee holds on to his opponent.  Magee uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Rhoderick's kidney. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Magee gets on the inside.  Rhoderick throws a left hook, but Magee clinches his opponent.  Rhoderick is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
