Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 07/06/2041 from San Miguelito, Panama:

The San Miguelito venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Santiago Lopez (30 - 5) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Gordon McCoubrey(1 - 8) from Omaha, USA.  

Round 1: 

Lopez gets on the inside.  Lopez sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  McCoubrey attempts to land a left uppercut, but Lopez sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Lopez is looking to close the distance.  Lopez pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to McCoubrey's body.  
Lopez lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Lopez drives a sharp cross into McCoubrey's body.  
Lopez steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a stinging jab.  
McCoubrey is on target with a jab.  McCoubrey tries to land a left hook, but Lopez parries the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
McCoubrey closes the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Lopez lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.
