Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 29/05/2041 from Abidjan, Ivory Coast:

The Abidjan venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Henry McAfee (10 - 20(3)) who hails from Glasgow, UK and Landry Barthez(65(8) - 16) from Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

As they grapple, Barthez pushes his forearm into McAfee's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Barthez.  McAfee quickly recovers. 
Barthez lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Barthez holds on to his opponent.  Barthez uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits McAfee behind the head. Barthez throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Barthez leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
McAfee throws a left hook, but Barthez ties up his opponent.  Barthez leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Barthez to stop holding.  
McAfee connects with a right hook.  Barthez holds on to his opponent.  Barthez leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Barthez pushes his forearm into McAfee's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Barthez.

Barthez thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put McAfee away.  Barthez lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS MCAFEE SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Barthez!
