Henry McAfee vs Jesus Jarquin

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 17/05/2041 from Carolina, Puerto Rico:

The Carolina venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Henry McAfee (9 - 19(2)) who hails from Glasgow, UK and Jesus Jarquin(38(8) - 15) from Carolina, Puerto Rico.  

Round 1: 

McAfee switches the action to the outside.  McAfee quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Jarquin is on target with a jab.  
Jarquin pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  McAfee quickly recovers. 
Jarquin walks his opponent into a corner.  Jarquin lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Jarquin pivots to the left of his opponent.  McAfee is on target with a left hook.  Jarquin ties up his opponent.  Jarquin is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Jarquin sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a solid left hook.  
Jarquin gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  McAfee almost instantly recovers. 
Jarquin is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Jarquin lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Jarquin attempts to land a right uppercut, but McAfee parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Jarquin lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Jarquin is looking to force the stoppage!  Jarquin whips in a spiteful right uppercut to his opponents body.  MCAFEE IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  McAfee now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Jarquin pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a stinging right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Jarquin closes the distance.  Jarquin sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Jarquin walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Jarquin drives a sharp left hook into his opponents liver.  
Jarquin lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS MCAFEE!  He manages to get up at 8.  
Jarquin thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put McAfee away.  Jarquin lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND DROPS MCAFEE!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  McAfee now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Jarquin lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Jarquin attempts to land a right hook, but McAfee blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Jarquin's trainer is advising his fighter to keep his distance and coast to the win.

Jarquin finds the target with a jab.  
McAfee lands a cross.  
Jarquin lands a straight 1 - 2.  
McAfee hits the target with a ramrod jab.  McAfee attempts to land a cross, but Jarquin blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
McAfee throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Jarquin connects with an overhand right.  
McAfee throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Jarquin lands an overhand right.  
Jarquin hits home with a sharp overhand left.  
Jarquin feints a jab, tricking McAfee into throwing a right hook counter.  Jarquin is waiting for the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut to McAfee's body.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...McAfee's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!
