Casper Rydell vs Samuel Akre

Boxing Daily Report from the Sweden National Finals 2041,  taking place on 02/05/2041 from Gothenburg, Sweden:

The Gothenburg venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Middleweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Casper Rydell (3 - 0) who hails from Stockholm, Sweden and Samuel Akre(40(10) - 20(2)) from Stockholm, Sweden.  

Round 1: 

Akre gets on the inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Rydell switches the action to the outside.  Akre throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook to Akre's body.  
Rydell lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Akre manouvers Rydell onto the ropes.  Akre pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a stinging left hook to Rydell's ribs.  
Akre advances into close range and digs in a solid right uppercut to his opponents body.  Akre holds on to his opponent.  Akre is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Akre and breaks the clinch.  
Akre drives a solid right hook into Rydell's body.  
Rydell steps away from his opponent.  Akre tries to land an overhand right, but Rydell blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Akre walks Rydell down, trapping him on the ropes.  Akre is on target with a stinging right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Akre steps inside.  Akre sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Akre crashes a hurtful right hook to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE RYDELL WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Akre tries to land a right hook, but Rydell blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  Rydell almost instantly recovers. 
Rydell is looking to keep his distance.  Akre lands a jab.  
Akre is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Rydell almost instantly recovers. 
Akre walks his opponent into a corner.  Akre lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Akre clinches his opponent.  Akre uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Rydell's kidney. 
Rydell feints a right, and then connects with a sharp cross.

Akre is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Akre connects with a sharp overhand left.  
Akre lands a stinging cross.  
Rydell is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  Akre ties up his opponent.  Akre leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Akre uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Rydell behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Akre to stop fouling.

Rydell switches the action to the outside.  Akre connects with an overhand left.  Akre throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Rydell quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Rydell finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Akre is on target with a cross.  
Akre lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Rydell is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Akre closes the distance and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.

Some sustained pressure from Akre could be enough to finish Rydell!  Akre slams a spiteful right hook into his opponents body.  DOWN GOES RYDELL!  He manages to get up at 8.  Rydell now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.
