Xavion Torrico vs Koldan Arshavin

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 15/04/2041 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Xavion Torrico (50 - 1) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Koldan Arshavin(1 - 1) from Khabarovsk, Russia.  

Round 1: 

Torrico lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Arshavin gets on the inside and manages to force Torrico onto the ropes.  Torrico hits home with a left hook.  
Arshavin gets on the inside and tries to land a right hook, but Torrico blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Torrico switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Torrico quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Arshavin throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Arshavin steps inside and manouvers Torrico onto the ropes.  Arshavin pivots from in front of his opponent, but Torrico hits home with a left uppercut.  
Torrico steps to the outside.  Arshavin throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Torrico feints a jab, and then lands an overhand right followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Arshavin closes the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Torrico is on target with a jab.  
Torrico switches the action to the outside and hits home with a spiteful jab.  
Torrico tries to step out of his opponents range and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Arshavin gets on the inside.  Torrico attempts to land a right hook, but Arshavin dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Torrico is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Arshavin gets on the inside and attempts to land a left uppercut, but Torrico sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Arshavin is looking to close the distance and manouvers Torrico into the corner.  Torrico lands a left hook.  
Arshavin attempts to land a cross, but Torrico blocks the shot and counters with a stinging cross.

Torrico feints a left, and then lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Torrico hits home with a ramrod jab.  
Torrico tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Arshavin digs in a firm right hook to his opponents ribcage.
