Henry McAfee vs Ryo Komatsu

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 14/04/2041 from Kyoto, Japan:

The Kyoto venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Henry McAfee (8 - 14(1)) who hails from Glasgow, UK and Ryo Komatsu(42(1) - 12(1)) from Kyoto, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Komatsu steps inside.  Komatsu sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Komatsu steps inside and connects with a firm right hook.  
McAfee drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Komatsu holds on to his opponent.  Komatsu pushes his forearm into McAfee's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
McAfee switches the action to the outside.  Komatsu attempts to land an overhand left, but McAfee sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Komatsu forces McAfee to back into the blue corner.  Komatsu lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Komatsu pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a sharp right hook.  
Komatsu lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Komatsu lands with a stinging jab.  
Komatsu closes the distance and drives a left uppercut into McAfee's body.  Komatsu ties up his opponent.  Komatsu is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Komatsu.  
McAfee steps away from his opponent.  Komatsu hits home with a cross.  
Komatsu closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Komatsu lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Komatsu lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Komatsu lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  Komatsu clinches his opponent.  Komatsu leans on his opponent using all his weight. Komatsu pushes his forearm into McAfee's face.  The referee warns Komatsu and breaks the clinch.

Komatsu leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. McAfee is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns McAfee.  
Komatsu is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
McAfee throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Komatsu gets on the inside and drives a sharp left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Komatsu lands a left uppercut.  Komatsu ties up his opponent.  Komatsu is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Komatsu's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Komatsu strikes his opponents body with a big cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE MCAFEE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  McAfee almost instantly recovers. 
McAfee pivots from in front of his opponent.  McAfee tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Komatsu finds the target with a jab.  
Komatsu lands a jab, cross and an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Komatsu lands a stiff jab.  
Komatsu lands with a ramrod jab.  
Komatsu is on target with a stinging overhand left.  
McAfee forces Komatsu to retreat onto the ropes.  Komatsu attempts to land a jab, but McAfee slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...McAfee's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!
