Henry McAfee vs Yavuz Arikan

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 07/04/2041 from Ankara, Turkey:

The Ankara venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Henry McAfee (8 - 13) who hails from Glasgow, UK and Yavuz Arikan(56(30) - 27) from Ankara, Turkey.  

Round 1: 

McAfee lands an overhand right, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Arikan is looking to close the distance.  McAfee throws a right uppercut, but Arikan holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Arikan pushes his forearm into McAfee's face.  The referee warns Arikan and breaks the clinch.  
Arikan lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Arikan walks McAfee into a corner.  McAfee throws a left hook, but Arikan holds on to his opponent.  Arikan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. McAfee is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns McAfee to stop fouling.  
Arikan digs in a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  Arikan clinches his opponent.  Arikan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Arikan lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Arikan lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Arikan lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  McAfee recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Arikan lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Arikan clinches his opponent.  Arikan leans on his opponent using all his weight. Arikan throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  McAfee almost instantly recovers. 
Arikan lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
McAfee tries to keep the action at long range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  McAfee tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
McAfee sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross to Arikan's body.  
Arikan advances into close range.  McAfee throws a right hook, but Arikan ties up his opponent.  Arikan leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Arikan pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Arikan lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Arikan manages to force McAfee onto the ropes.  Arikan lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  McAfee quickly recovers. 
Arikan lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
McAfee attempts to land a right uppercut, but Arikan sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Arikan lands a right hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  Arikan ties up his opponent.  Arikan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Arikan lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  McAfee recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
McAfee switches the action to the outside.  McAfee feints a right hook, and then tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook to McAfee's body.  
Arikan closes the distance and lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Arikan walks McAfee down, trapping him in the red corner.  Arikan lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Arikan lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
McAfee throws a right hook, but Arikan clinches his opponent.  Arikan uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits McAfee behind the head. 
McAfee attempts to land a left uppercut, but Arikan parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
McAfee is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land a cross, but Arikan slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Arikan steps inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS MCAFEE TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  McAfee almost instantly recovers. 
Arikan advances into close range.  Arikan pivots from in front of his opponent.  McAfee throws a left hook, but Arikan holds on to his opponent.  Arikan leans on his opponent using all his weight. Arikan hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Arikan manouvers McAfee into the blue corner.  Arikan drives a left hook into McAfee's body.  Arikan ties up his opponent.  Arikan leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Arikan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to McAfee's body.

Arikan slams a mean left hook into his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE MCAFEE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Arikan is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Arikan lands three consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS MCAFEE SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Arikan!
