Luca Sogno vs Mario Veltroni

Boxing Daily Report from the Italy National Finals 2041,  taking place on 26/03/2041 from Milan, Italy:

The Milan venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Luca Sogno (15 - 13) who hails from Naples, Italy and Mario Veltroni(65(27) - 42) from Naples, Italy.  

Round 1: 

Sogno steps inside.  Veltroni lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Veltroni digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Sogno lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Veltroni holds on to his opponent.  Sogno leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Veltroni pushes his forearm into Sogno's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Veltroni drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Sogno is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab.  
Veltroni quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a firm left uppercut.  
Sogno quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Veltroni drives a solid right hook into his opponents body.  
Veltroni steps inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Veltroni throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Veltroni digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Sogno is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Veltroni gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Veltroni sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Sogno hits home with a stinging left uppercut.  
Veltroni lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Veltroni lands a right uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Veltroni drives a solid right hook into Sogno's body.  
Sogno is looking to keep his distance and lands a ramrod jab.  Sogno tries to land a cross, but Veltroni sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Veltroni gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND DOWN GOES SOGNO!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Veltroni closes the distance and digs in a firm left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Veltroni drives a left uppercut into Sogno's body.  
Sogno steps away from his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Veltroni gets on the inside.  Sogno is on target with a right hook.  
Sogno tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Veltroni connects with a telling left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE SOGNO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Veltroni manages to force Sogno onto the ropes.  Veltroni thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Sogno away.  Veltroni lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head, DROPPING SOGNO TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.  It looks like Sogno has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Veltroni lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head, AND DROPS SOGNO TO THE CANVAS!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Veltroni!
