Boxing Daily Report from the Bahamas National Finals 2041,  taking place on 17/03/2041 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Bruce Bricken (16(2) - 4) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Felix Wood(58(14) - 34) from Nassau, Bahamas.  

Round 1: 

Wood steps inside and lands a solid right uppercut.

Wood lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Bricken lands a sharp right hook.  Wood ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Wood pushes his forearm into Bricken's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Wood about fouling.  
Wood gets on the inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Bricken on the ropes.  Bricken connects with a left hook.  Bricken tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Wood connects with a right hook.  Wood holds on to his opponent.  Wood throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Bricken pushes his forearm into Wood's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Bricken about fouling.

Bricken leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Wood's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Bricken attempts to land a jab, but Wood parries the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.

Bricken digs in a stinging right hook to Wood's body.  Wood clinches his opponent.  Wood uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Bricken behind the head. 
Wood lands a right hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Bricken steps to the outside.  Bricken feints a left, and then lands a jab.  
Wood steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Wood gets on the inside.  Wood sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Bricken is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  Wood ties up his opponent.  Wood throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Wood.

Wood lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.
