Gavin Donnelly vs Ian Hillin

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 15/01/2041 from New Kingston, Jamaica:

The New Kingston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Gavin Donnelly (4 - 10(4)) who hails from Glasgow, UK and Ian Hillin(37(3) - 24(1)) from New Kingston, Jamaica.  

Round 1: 

Donnelly connects with a cross.  
Hillin is on target with a firm left uppercut to Donnelly's ribs.  Hillin tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Donnelly switches the action to the outside and is on target with a jab.  Donnelly tries to land an overhand right, but Hillin dodges the shot and counters with a telling right uppercut to Donnelly's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE DONNELLY WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Donnelly quickly recovers.

Hillin forces Donnelly to retreat onto the ropes.  Donnelly throws a left hook, but Hillin clinches his opponent.  Hillin is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Hillin digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Hillin lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Hillin lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Hillin clinches his opponent.  Donnelly is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Hillin's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Hillin lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Hillin pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut to Donnelly's liver.

Donnelly sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Hillin lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Hillin steps inside and walks his opponent into the corner.  Hillin throws a left uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Hillin clinches his opponent.  Hillin is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Hillin.  
Hillin lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Donnelly is on target with a jab.  
Hillin is looking to close the distance and drives a right hook into Donnelly's body.  
Hillin digs in a forceful right hook to his opponents body.  DONNELLY IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.
