Gavin Donnelly vs Ian Hillin

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 25/12/2040 from New Kingston, Jamaica:

The New Kingston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Gavin Donnelly (4 - 7(2)) who hails from Glasgow, UK and Ian Hillin(36(2) - 24(1)) from New Kingston, Jamaica.  

Round 1: 

Hillin drives a sharp right hook into Donnelly's ribcage.  
Donnelly tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Hillin connects with a firm right hook.  
Donnelly tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab.  
Hillin steps inside.  Hillin pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Hillin sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a solid left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Hillin drives a left hook into Donnelly's body.  
Donnelly pivots from in front of his opponent.  Donnelly attempts to land a left hook, but Hillin dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Hillin pivots to the right of his opponent and slams a spiteful right hook into Donnelly's body.  DONNELLY HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Hillin lands a left hook.  
Donnelly tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a jab.  
Donnelly is on target with a stinging jab.  
Donnelly advances into close range.  Donnelly pivots to the side of his opponent.  Donnelly throws a left hook, but Hillin holds on to his opponent.  Donnelly leans on his opponent using all his weight. Hillin pushes his forearm into Donnelly's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Hillin.  
Hillin pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a forceful right hook to his opponents body.  DONNELLY WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Donnelly almost instantly recovers. 
Hillin crashes a spiteful right hook to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE DONNELLY WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Hillin walks Donnelly onto the ropes.  Hillin is looking to force the stoppage!  Hillin lands a right uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body, AND DONNELLY IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Donnelly now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Donnelly throws a left hook, but Hillin holds on to his opponent.  Hillin leans on his opponent using all his weight. Donnelly tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Hillin behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Donnelly about fouling.  
Hillin pivots from in front of his opponent.  Donnelly throws a left hook, but Hillin holds on to his opponent.  Donnelly leans on his opponent using all his weight. Hillin throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Hillin lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Donnelly tries to step out of his opponents range.  Donnelly sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Hillin lands a solid jab to Donnelly's body.  
Hillin advances into close range and digs in a powerful right hook to his opponents body.  DONNELLY WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Hillin forces Donnelly to retreat onto the ropes.  Hillin stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Hillin drives a telling right hook into his opponents ribcage.  DONNELLY IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Hillin!
