Gavin Donnelly vs Ian Hillin

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 09/12/2040 from New Kingston, Jamaica:

The New Kingston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Gavin Donnelly (4 - 4) who hails from Glasgow, UK and Ian Hillin(35(1) - 24(1)) from New Kingston, Jamaica.  

Round 1: 

Hillin gets on the inside.  Donnelly lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Hillin lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Hillin pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Hillin walks Donnelly down, trapping him on the ropes.  Hillin digs in a stinging left hook to Donnelly's liver.  
Donnelly lands with a stinging jab.  
Hillin is looking to close the distance and tries to land a left hook, but Donnelly parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Hillin sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Donnelly hits home with a left hook.  
Hillin pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Hillin drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Hillin digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
Hillin lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Hillin ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Donnelly pushes his forearm into Hillin's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Donnelly to stop fouling.  
Donnelly pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Hillin lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Donnelly sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Hillin drives a right hook into Donnelly's ribs.  
Donnelly throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Donnelly is looking to keep his distance and finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Hillin gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Donnelly is looking to keep the action on the outside and finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Hillin advances into close range and throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Hillin holds on to his opponent.  Hillin pushes his forearm into Donnelly's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Hillin walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Donnelly throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Donnelly tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Donnelly finds the target with a jab.  
Hillin steps inside and drives a right uppercut into Donnelly's body.  
Hillin whips in a spiteful left uppercut to Donnelly's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE DONNELLY WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Donnelly almost instantly recovers. 
Donnelly switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  Donnelly attempts to land a jab, but Hillin sidesteps and counters with a firm right hook to Donnelly's body.  
Hillin lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Donnelly quickly recovers. 
Hillin lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Hillin lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Hillin's trainer is advising his fighter to keep his distance and coast to the win.

Hillin is looking to force the stoppage!  Hillin lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND DONNELLY IS DOWN!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Hillin!
