Gennady Mucashev vs Sid Towns

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 05/12/2040 from Dushanbe, Tajikistan:

The Dushanbe venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Gennady Mucashev (85(25) - 6) who hails from Dushanbe, Tajikistan and Sid Towns(1 - 2) from New Kingston, Jamaica.  

Round 1: 

Towns throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Mucashev drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Towns lands a stinging jab.  
Towns steps to the outside.  Mucashev connects with a solid cross.  
Mucashev throws a right hook, but is unable to find the target.  Mucashev holds on to his opponent.  Mucashev pushes his forearm into Towns's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mucashev gets on the inside and walks his opponent into a neutral corner.  Mucashev hits home with a stinging right hook.  Mucashev ties up his opponent.  Mucashev leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mucashev lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Mucashev ties up his opponent.  Towns leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mucashev is on target with a stinging right hook to Towns's ribcage.  
Mucashev lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Towns almost instantly recovers. 
Mucashev is looking to close the distance and throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mucashev lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Towns recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Mucashev closes the distance.  Mucashev pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Mucashev cuts off the ring, trapping Towns on the ropes.  Mucashev pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Towns almost instantly recovers. 
Mucashev attempts to land a left hook, but Towns slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Mucashev digs in a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Mucashev walks Towns down, trapping him in the corner.  Mucashev hits home with a right uppercut.  
Mucashev digs in a firm right uppercut to Towns's body.  
Mucashev lands a stinging left hook.  
Mucashev throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Mucashev holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Mucashev pushes his forearm into Towns's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Mucashev.

Mucashev lands a cross to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Towns recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Mucashev closes the distance.  Towns throws a right hook, but Mucashev clinches his opponent.  Mucashev is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Mucashev's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Towns tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a FEARSOME cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE TOWNS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Towns quickly recovers. 
Mucashev gets on the inside and crashes a spiteful left hook to Towns's body.  DOWN GOES TOWNS!  He manages to get up at 6.  
Mucashev hits home with a solid left hook.  Mucashev tries to land a cross, but Towns dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Mucashev advances into close range.  Mucashev sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Towns recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Mucashev lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Mucashev lands a left hook.  
Mucashev hits home with a firm cross.  
Towns steps away from his opponent.  Mucashev lands a cross.  
Mucashev crashes a nasty left hook to Towns's body.  TOWNS IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Mucashev!
