Ashley Gallagher vs Dave Frost

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 21/10/2040 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ashley Gallagher (83(5) - 17) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Dave Frost(2 - 3) from Montgomery, USA.  

Round 1: 

Frost throws a left hook, but Gallagher clinches his opponent.  Frost leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Gallagher feints a left hook, and then lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Frost steps inside and throws a left hook, but Gallagher clinches his opponent.  Frost throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. As they grapple, Gallagher pushes his forearm into Frost's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Gallagher lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Frost closes the distance.  Gallagher lands a right hook.  
Frost tries to land a left hook, but Gallagher slips the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Frost closes the distance.  Gallagher drives a left hook into Frost's liver.  
Frost throws a left uppercut, but Gallagher clinches his opponent.  Gallagher leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Frost hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Frost manages to force Gallagher onto the ropes.  Frost attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Gallagher time to recover.

Frost is looking to close the distance.  Gallagher lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Frost steps inside and is on target with a solid left hook to Gallagher's liver.

Gallagher connects with a cross.

Frost manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Frost attempts to land a cross, but Gallagher blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.
