Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 29/07/2040 from Chicago, USA:

The Chicago venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Mark Wean (66 - 17(1)) who hails from Chicago, USA and Arthur Gowans(1 - 0) from Baltimore, USA.  

Round 1:

Wean gets on the inside.  Gowans is on target with a right hook.  Wean ties up his opponent.  Gowans is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Gowans pivots to the right of his opponent.  Gowans attempts to land a left hook, but Wean slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Gowans gets on the inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Wean on the ropes.  Gowans pivots to the side of his opponent.  Gowans attempts to land a right hook, but Wean slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Gowans sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Wean lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Gowans switches the action to the outside.  Wean is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Wean drives a telling left hook into his opponents liver.  GOWANS IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Gowans has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
