Gregor Clewis vs David Power

Boxing Daily Report from the Tehran 2040 Olympic Boxing Championships,  taking place on 13/07/2040 from Tehran, Iran:

The Tehran venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Round of 32 fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching the broadcast live from around the world, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Gregor Clewis (36(1) - 8) who hails from Spanish Town, Jamaica and David Power(33(1) - 18) from Dublin, Ireland.  

Round 1: 

Power closes the distance and attempts to land a left hook, but Clewis slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.

Power steps inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Power is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Clewis lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

Power now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Power gets on the inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Clewis on the ropes.  Clewis digs in a sharp left hook to Power's body.  
Clewis lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Power gets on the inside.  Clewis digs in a firm right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Clewis is looking to keep his distance and finds the target with a hard jab.  
Power forces Clewis to retreat onto the ropes.  Power throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.
