Dai Cassidy vs Mervyn Kinnock

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 19/06/2040 from Sheffield, UK:

The Sheffield venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dai Cassidy (48 - 3) who hails from Liverpool, UK and Mervyn Kinnock(4 - 6) from London, UK.  

Round 1: 

Kinnock advances into close range.  Cassidy lands a firm left hook.  
Kinnock gets on the inside.  Cassidy tries to land a left hook, but Kinnock blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Kinnock manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Kinnock sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.

Cassidy sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Kinnock lands a cross.  
Kinnock is looking to close the distance and drives a right hook into his opponents body.

Kinnock tries to land an overhand right, but Cassidy sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Kinnock pivots to the side of his opponent, but Cassidy snaps his opponents head back with a sharp jab.  
Kinnock advances into close range and connects with a right uppercut.  
Kinnock manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Kinnock lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kinnock's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.

Kinnock manages to force Cassidy onto the ropes.  Cassidy hits home with a sharp cross.  
Cassidy is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Cassidy sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Kinnock connects with a firm cross.  
Cassidy feints a right, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Cassidy is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Cassidy hits the target with a ramrod jab.  
Cassidy is on target with a right hook.  
Cassidy switches the action to the outside.  Cassidy sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.
