Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 01/06/2040 from Leeds, UK:

The Leeds venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Tom McCorkle (60 - 16) who hails from Blackpool, UK and Geoff Kelman(1 - 2) from Londonderry, UK.  

Round 1: 

McCorkle feints a jab, but Kelman ignores the feint and responds with a stinging left hook.

McCorkle switches the action to the outside and lands a jab to the body followed by a overhand right to the head.  
Kelman manouvers McCorkle onto the ropes.  Kelman quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a cross to the head.  
McCorkle lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kelman sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a solid cross.  
Kelman quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a stiff jab.  
Kelman walks his opponent onto the ropes.  McCorkle lands a right hook followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Kelman sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but McCorkle lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Kelman closes the distance and lands a solid right hook.  Kelman tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...McCorkle's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.
